AWEA Exhibition Chicago A Huge Success |
 |
The joint PPG/TransGroup Worldwide Logistics booth at the huge AWEA Exhibition in Chicago has proved a glowing success with all participants gaining invaluable contracts, leads and genuine business opportunities. The PPG/TransGroup booth was a wonderful investment and we plan to participate in the next event to be held in Dallas in 2010. A live performance of the Blues Brothers saw thousands of visitors flocking to our booth. Several other exhibitors stated that they were doing more business at our booth, than their own! It was a really wonderful show and the feedback from those who attended from PPG has been extremely positive. |

From TransGroup's perspective, this year's event was the most amazing so far. They have been participating in this show for many years and exhibiting for the past handful of years. Year to year TransGroup’s marketshare increases in line with client visits to our booth which also increases correspondingly. This year we had record attendance in our booth and the meetings we participated in were with strong companies involved in the wind industry - manufacturers, suppliers and developers. Projects that are sustaining through these financial times and we can confirm a significant amount of business (already quoting pending final close) during the show with our clients and also received a number of serious inquiries for work from 2009 - 2012. The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Exhibition is the largest show of its type in the world, usually drawing more than 25,000 visitors. PPG participants were as follows, with Rhenus, Spain and Sahil Freight Express, India unfortunately not able to make the trip at the last minute, but we thank them for their contribution all the same.
