CTO do Brasil successfully completed the shipment of an over-dimensional tank. The item was transported from Sao Paulo city to Port of Santos, Brazil, loaded onto a Mafi and shipped by Ro/Ro vessel to Port of Puerto Limon, Costa Rica.
PPG Member, BASE logistika/ICI Proyectos, recently concluded the Topolobampo II Energy Project, transporting 3/3 bassels, in collaboration with strategic alley BLK. The combined Cycle Power Plant (Topolobampo II) is located in Choacahui, municipality of Ahome, Sinaloa. Capacity 786 NW Configuration: 2 Gas Turbines, 3 heat recovery units and 1 Steam Turbine. It is estimated that it will provide electricity to 3 Million users in Mexico.
Overdimensional logistics network, Project Professionals Group’s 11th annual conference will be held in Portland, Oregon, USA, from 26-28 September next year (2018). PPG Qld., Australia member, CMX Global Logistics, has successfully concluded a shipment of 48 modules ex Vietnam to Christchurch, New Zealand. This shipments is the first of many that will ease New Zealand's hotel room shortage. When assembled it will be the first 4 storey 4 star module hotel complex in New Zealand. CMX arranged all shipping, transport, quarantine and port-side coordination in both Vietnam and New Zealand.
PPG member, Almajdouie Logistics, Saudi Arabia, has successfully transported a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) modules from Jubail to the Waddi Alshamal project in Turaif, Saudi Arabia. 20 out of 40 GE units were on time and on budget, each weighing 195MT. Almajdouie transported the units (L25.19m x W3.89m x H3.35m) by 1x14 axles trailers throughout the entire journey of 1,300 klms from Jubail to Turaif.
Almajdouie Logistics has delivered the first shipment of 13 wagons and two engines for the eagerly anticipated Haramain High Speed Rail Project. The Almajdouie team transported the cargo from Jeddah Islamic Port to Rabigh Work Station-II, covering a distance of approximately 110km. By the first quarter of 2018, we will handle a total volume of 7,584 CBM.
PPG member, CTO, Brazil, has successfully arranged a project shipment of used Caterpillar 772 trucks ex North Brazil to China. In total 24 trucks and 2 dump bodies ( 871.600 mt / 3,715.450 cbm ) were loaded on 2 barges in Altamira ( state of Pará ) and shipped to the port of Belem, where the units were transferred directly to a break bulk vessel for shipment to final destination at port of Tianjin Xingang – China.
